Shipping contract
When you tender a shipment, you agree to the carrier rules and tariffs in effect at the time the shipment is created.
Prohibited items
Hazardous goods, weapons, currency, and other restricted commodities cannot be shipped without prior written authorization.
Packaging
Items must be packaged to withstand normal handling. Improperly packaged shipments may be refused or excluded from claims.
Delivery commitments
Service-level transit times are estimates and exclude weather, customs, and force-majeure delays. Money-back guarantees may apply to specific services.
Charges and billing
Quoted rates may be re-rated based on actual weight, dimensions, and accessorials measured at the terminal. Invoices are due net 15 unless otherwise agreed.
Claims
Visible damage must be noted at delivery. Concealed damage and loss claims must be filed within nine months of the tender date with supporting documentation.
Liability
Default liability is limited to the lesser of declared value or statutory tariff limits. Additional coverage is available at the time of shipment.
